Emotion word examples: interested, intrigued, curious, perplexed, angry, anxious, fearful, optimistic, pleased, outraged, annoyed, amused, surprised, bored, playful, comfortable, sympathetic, warm, irritated, suspicious, worried, etc.
Was it at all poignant? In general, do Amora's thoughts and feelings come across as appropriate and natural considering the situation?
Was the transition to that segment and back to Zel's POV smooth enough?
Does it feel like a world with a lot of depth and a lot more to learn or is it feeling shallow and/or underdeveloped? Do you get a sense of the existence of different lands, cultures, religions, species, etc. and are you learning about everything at a pace that's satisfactory for you?
If you haven't yet read Book 1, please indicate that below so I can identify if the confusion might be due to that or not.
